Great big mouth watering juicy T-bone steaks at Cost-co today.

Yangjae Cost-co had T-bones on sale today. Bought a pack of 4 huge steaks for 65,000, pricey yes. The best thing was that they had free samples Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Shocked and damn they were tasty. Can hardly wait to thaw one out and bbq it off.

Grotto, that price for imported beef... it's insane! (isn't it? Confused ) How huge is "huge"? How thick are they? More precisely, gram/won?

Costco, huh... I may go down and pick some up a few, but I'd like to know what you get for 65,000 won. Last time I bought T-bone here it was 12,000 won/steak ... BIG cuts of Australian beef. Okay, it was the late '90s, and I did buy from a restricted government-employee-only butcher's. But the won was around 1600 to the US$ then, so...

T-bones are overrated. The strip part of it is pretty mediocre and often tenderloin part is really small or non-existent.

these steaks are about an inch thick.
wieght is about a kilo each

the tender on the steaks I picked out is a bit bigger than a pack of smokes.

Size wise they will pretty much fill a plate!

So overall I picked up about 6+ kilos of aussie beef for 65,000

considering you cant find t-bones anywhere else and the price of Korean beef(25,000 won a kilo) I thought it wasnt too bad of a deal.

Costco also has a nice selection of wing steaks there as well if T-bones aren't your bag.

That is a very good price for steaks. I normally pay around 30,000 for 2kg of steak.....

yep... he killed himself. if you have been following daves for 10 years he is not the only poster who has made headlines.

the one canadian guy who got immigration to change all the laws was a poster on here, the dude who went to cambodia and had sex with minors was teaching in Yongin city here about 6 years ago. and a poster on daves
