They take both blood and urine, and don't tell you what either is for. They will also x-ray your lungs for good measure (not kidding). |

Sorry the Marijuana testing is now back on the table. When they first instituted it they where not prepared. But they have caught up. As to how they test - I think it is generic pee testing.
Well hope you can get clean and please do not do that crap here. We have enough problems with out image. Save it for back home and long holidays. |

Well, I am definitely not stupid enough to bring anything that is questionable to So Ko. Thanks to the idiot who was on one and made everyone else look bad.
X-Ray your lungs? For Mary?Is that possible, or is that a general health x-ray? |

Yup, the x-ray is for tuberculosis, even though you can technically screen positive for TB on an X-ray and not actually have it. A skin test for TB is much more accurate. |

they DO use the chest x-ray to test for marijuana.
they also check to see if your hand is bigger than your face.
be prepared. |

Actually, in the blood they check 4 things:
HIV
liver function
cholesterol
blood type
For the urine the check a whole bunch of things, including but not limited to drugs.
A skin test for TB will show a false positive if you've been vaccinated for it. |

Just had my medical check-up earlier this week. Is it just me, or do they take ALOT of blood? They took enough of mine to fill three of their vials (and still had some left in the needle). Felt like I should have gotten juice and a cookie afterwards. |

When did you get your health check done? Was it the first thing they made you do? Did they set up an appointment ahead of time, or did you just walk in one day and they said, "OK, time to go get your exam?" |

It depends on where your school sends you. Sometimes you have to make an appointment in advance (which your school should make for you), or you may just have to go to a hospital and get a check up on your own. I think it costs about 50k, if I remember correctly (which your school may or may not pay for).
Yeah. Just ask your school. |

They always take atleast 3-4 vials of blood. Its for back-up, since something could read wrong.
When I had to get my MMR check for school, they took out 5 vials. |
