| This is to be expected. Going back in time and changing things would create a paradox, which would result in massive earth-quake-like events that would ultimately destroy the universe. Fact. |

That is why some believe only going back in time is possible. |

Not if you follow a multi verse, where travelling back in time you enter a parallel universe. One that can accommodate a traveller and avoid a paradox. Watch 'source code'
I don't necessarily follow this idea, and prefer the idea of a traveller being disconnected from their origin and thus allowing them to kill their grandparents, or other paradoxes. Their state of matter would remain the same including their memories (which are only an arrangement of neurons anyway, not actual events). Killing parents or general screwing about wouldn't change this. My preference for this idea is based on little but my fancy.
One problem would be the idea of connecting time lines concurrently. Watch 'Frequency' |

| Isn't reality like infinite? We only know our little corner of the universe and not even that. Maybe in the universe now, it's not possible to bend time backwards. Anyone remember hearing about Einstein telling Heisenberg God does not play dice? Who was wrong? The implications being why should I listen to these physicists? I find it to be odd anyway that these physicists would be presumptious enough to believe their little experiment matched the Big Bang. Another thing is why does Newtonian physics use time if time is not a real concept? |

Maybe the time period in which we live and have written history from or our planet is so insignificant in the scope of the entire time continuum and universe that those in the future or from other worlds have no desire to come visit our time or planet. |
