Hey guys, was wondering if I wanted to teach in Seoul this coming teaching semester, what kind of salary should I be expecting?
I have a bachelors in finance from a Top 30 American business school.
2 Years experience with Epik program. Took a year off recently
Have a Tesol 100 hrs. With a grade of A.
I'm 27, "handsome" looking, but asian. It wasn't a problem for EPIK but slightly concerned if I go the hagwon route being yellow faced.
Any advice or words of wisdom? Any help appreciated and much thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.
I'm thinking that 2.5 mil is what I should be aiming for? :/ |

...do they assign any other grades than that?
2.1-2.3, just like in the other thread. |

2.5?? You'd be incredibly lucky. But, if you're willing to look for a while (i.e. don't expect to land a position paying that much within a week or so) then you should be OK.
2.3 max is what you should aim for comfortably.
Good luck, and don't forget to check the Hagwon Blacklist!
