Yeah, that's why so many people are calling it BS. You say it all comes down do credibility- well the government has zero credibility. The have such a negative amount of credibility, that you practically assume they're lying in every case (even when it doesn't serve them to do so, or they'd be better off telling the truth), and you'd probably be right! |

There is no point in producing the body the DNA report or the photographs. It will have no effect on those wearing the tinfoil hats. They will just say that the pics and the DNA evidence is faked.
Bin Laden is dead. They shot him through the head as reported and dumped him at sea. He is now enjoying his 72 virgins.
It was plan B to shoot him. Plan A was to capture him, bring him to Git Bay strap him to a waterboard pump him full of truth serums and take every bit of info from his shaggy head. Plan A would have been the wise and logical choice.
Then, after he spilled his guts, they would have tried him in front of a military tribunal and then executed him. This is what they did to the Nazis at Nuremberg and it worked out well.
They would have done this with Osama but a SEAL put a round into his head. Too bad but sh-t happens. |

What a load of horse crap. The fake videos were released by the CIA, and the people you are calling wingnuts pointed it out long ago while all the talking-head media muppets were in 'orgasic overdrive' saying how scary it was and how the government should steal our civil liberties to protect us. And people like yata were LOVING it. They adore being bamboozled more than anything (it's like an addiction for them, they just can't get enough). |

I have to agree with that. Americans have become too afraid. However, I wasn't only talking about Americans. If bin Laden were captured, it seems plausible that he wouldn't be tried in America. Out of curiosity, who gets to decide those kinds of things?

Osama Bin Laden, as a foreigner and non-resident, has no rights under the US Constitution until he becomes detained by US forces.
As an enemy combatant, he has no rights protecting him from being killed under the Geneva Conventions. Once OBL were detained, he would (arguably) be entitled to protections under the Geneva Conventions, since the US is a High Contracting Party.
Osama Bin Laden declared war on the United States. Thus, the United States killed him. Nobody has a right to declare war on a sovereign state, particularly when thereafter he attacks and kills civilians in that state, and then enjoy the protection of law. Law does not apply to those outside the State and dwelling in the State of Nature. |

Aren't you the guy who a few pages back claimed the debate was settled since a "member of Al Qaida", whose name you didn't even know said so? Do I really need to waste more time on such a person?
Well here goes... The videos were fake in and of themselves. His beard is dyed in some, he suddenly puts on weight in another (with a fat nose that looks nothing like OBL's), and the actors pretending to be him weren't left handed (as he was), and didn't even speak in a Saudi accent. Pretty well all of the video (and audio) clips were released precisely in time to influence the outcome of US elections, or when legislation was being passed to ratchet up the police state. All were completely fake; just total made up garbage that only the idiot American public would buy.

Do you think the secret group who run the world are so hard up that they won't pay Hollywood money to get decent looking fake videos made?
Are they so cheap they cobble together garbled looking fakes, even though they know vigilantes like you are watching?
Do they make these fake videos just to rile you guys up knowing that no one will ever listen to you?
Or are they a big bunch of rich incompetent muppets who rule the world but don't know how to fake something well enough to convince everyone?
Maybe the conspiracy is so tightly nit that that they can't add a decent movie-maker into the group because of the risk of exposure?
Maybe they're operating at such a genius level that they WANT you to be bringing their actions to attention and WANT conspiracy theorists to rise up and eventually take over the Tea Party then the Republican Party then the US of A? In fact, are YOU part of a conspiracy to take over the government? |

If, hypothetically, a cabal out to control the world through secret machinations were to exist, I think it likely that you and your skeptical beliefs, propitiated across the internet, have not only been identified, but also infiltrated and are being USED right now to further their aims. Every fake-this or fake-that you spout are only FURTHERING the aims of our future overlords. If they're this clever, they're not stupid. You aren't going to beat 1,000 years of world-control with internet-sleuthing. They got you beat already. Unless you live in a bunker in the Idaho panhandle =( Then you're just out of the game.
