I heard from one of my friends that an English teacher at KAIST, has died. His name was Christopher Surridge, and he was from Canada. I actually have no idea about the details of his death. I found a Korean news article which I believe provides some information about his death.

Chris was a great person and a brilliant teacher. I'm thankful to have known him while he was with us. RIP.

Re: Christopher Surridge Memorial: We are hoping to stream live the Wednesday night (8pm to 10pm Korean time) tribute here in Korea at KAIST. I know that Chris would love it for us to all get to "know" each other better and celebrate his life (and our lives) together. We will rejoice in his amazing life and rejoice in how amazing we ALL are too - that's what he would have said.

His unfortunate death is a reminder of both the fragility of life and the potential that we could go at any time.

Rest in peace, man.

That's terrible. He looked to be in pretty good shape. How old was he?
