|

I am selling a brand new Capita Indoor Survival FK 157 and Union Contact Bindings. I have only used these 2 days, and I found that I was too big for a 157. I am taking a big loss by selling these, but I needed to buy another set before the season ended. I will also include a carrying bag. I will also attach some links for reviews and pricing. Thanks 010-5832-9067

Ty's my mate, and is also an idiot. He rode after me up a dodgy bank on muju and put a massive gash in his base. It Now has 1 nice not so cute gouge in it that wants fixing.
Basically he is under the impression that he wont be selling this and thinks he'll be likely giving it to me. Well, i have too many snowboards as is (including the 156 sierrascope which is this exact board cut into a horrorscope shape), so i reckon if any of you send him a sound offer you can get this for a steal right now
Here's a little something you need to know about the indoor FK.
This board presses like you WONT BELIEVE. I rode it last year and was stunned at 1 foot presses, I rode it again this year (the same day he devalued it by his shenanigans), and i was almost tail blocking it.
This board is butter-tastic. Dont believe me, go read up about the indoor FK, lets just say theres a reason its their biggest seller in Japan. Perfect flex, great bouncy pop, and a nice solid stable core between the bindings. The board is basically sick!
Heres what you get on it:
1. Flat kick. That means zero camber between the inserts, and then a slow gradual reverse camber (its nice and mellow), meaning you get a loose skate like ride. It also helps with pressing, pow, and forgiveness. So if youre thinking of taking up snowboarding or just want to cruise japanese pow next winter, this board will be perfect.
2. Sintered base. Look after it. More durable and faster than extruded so this deck can lay down some serious speed.
3. A variable flex pattern which means a VERY stable base. This board might be reverse camber (well, flat kick to be technical) but it wont fold up on you like a banana. It has a really solid mid section that is going to hold an edge for you. This gives it a really nice flex pattern that makes it super stable for rails and mid sized landings. The soft tip and tail makes it really fun for buttering.
4. Carbon inserts at the contacts. The 2010 had nice pop, but it was a little dead, the 2011 on the other hand strengthened this area to give you just a little more oomph for better loading. It also helps give you a poppier carve. Basically, it got a little pop makeover for 2011.
Finally you get the good old fashioned capita steeze.
Its an awesome cruising board and thats where it really shines. Its very hangover friendly. Take it into the park, take it off jumps, cruise about, hit some pow, its pretty much the FRIENDLY all mountain board.
It does have an achilles heel, and thats chop. It wont blast through it, and you will get bounced around which may lead to washing out if youre riding fast, but since washing beats catching an edge by a swedish mile, its part of the trade off. Anyway, once you learn how to ride it, you wont be bothered with washing ever again.
Understand though, I OWN this board, i paid my own dollars for this board, and the reason ty owns it is because i recommended it to him so as much as im hyping this board, i also think its a solid awesome deck. I genuinely love it, and for bloody good reason. Its part of my quiver already (in 156 too), so i'd rather one of you guys bought it than i tried to figure out how to take deck number 5 home with me (i have 4 others: quiver killer, sierrascope, charlie slasher (im a capitawhore :p) and a bataleon airobic).
So save me the trouble and buy this deck. I promise you this one will put a smile on your face.
Rider size: 150-175lbs (ideal)
Size shoes: 8-11US (i wouldnt buy this if you have bigger feet since its one of capitas narrower WW boards)
Best for:
Experienced: cruising and mucking about. It wont be your serious on-point all mountain rig. But it might be your serious jib board if you want something with a bit more bite than a horrorscope or the www.
Intermediate all round exploring and finding your preferences. This board is made for having tastes of everything.
Beginners: This board is ridiculously forgiving. Youll pick up and more importantly LOVE snowboarding riding this.
There you go, ill post a couple of reviews after work, but theyre locking up now
http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=30855&PID=603232#603232 (spenser, the most knowledgeable guy on any snow forum id say).
http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=31056&PID=615037#615037 (my review after my first day on it).
(with a couple more years under my belt id obviously look at it a little more critically though - it does have problems in chop, it does feel squirly at speed, and in DEEP and steep pow it does have a tendency to surf it a little too well causing you to slide out a little in turns... so yeah, the more experienced you get the more youll come to use it for cruising and just doinking about the resort, because honestly, i doubt theres a better board that lets you hit up everything you want with that mellow vibe than the indoor... but from an early intermediate perspective (which i was when i wrote that), you can see i was pretty stoked on it ).

PS. Ask about bundling it with his M/L Union contacts. Those bindings are great.
PPS. Its a 156 not a 157. |

Your Awesome Ippy!! Thanks...but couldn't we have called it a massive scratch He's right though. I really don't have the time, patience, or desire to sell anymore of my things before I leave. If he doesn't want it, somebody can have it for a really good price. I'll post a picture of the scratch/gouge. I have a p tex candle to repair it, but I'm just really lazy! Thanks again!! |

| Ok, I only have 4 weeks left, so maybe it will help if I put a price. 150k for the board, and 100k for the bindings. If some one buys it as a package they can have it for 225k, and I'll even throw in a Burton board bag that cost 90k by itself. |

hey dude, if his sale doesnt go through, im getting rid of no less than THREE of my boards (im trying to drop my quiver down to 2 boards - my pow stick (charlie slasher) and my all mountain (bataleon riot). So in order, i'll be first getting rid of the sierrascope (same board as his, only a horrorscope shape and an inverse of the 2010 horrorscope graphic made by capita for sierrasnowboards).
Its the black one second from the right (next to the airobic - the board with the bindings on it).

(PS. The other two boards im getting shot of are the bataleon airobic (the one with the big googly eyes) and the quiver killer (the red one)).

Of course, first ill let him sell his. So I wont be selling any until hes done but if youre after a board dont worry, theres a few available |
