Im staying for a second year here and am currently starting my application processes and looking at available employment (my contracts up the end of August) However, I'm not entirely sure what documentation is actually required. I have heard reports of the rules recently changing, and that maybe you don't have to get another CRC as you can transfer it over? Also, can I just use the copy of the apostilled degree certificate that my current job is holding to send to potential emplyers? And if not, can I get things apostilled here, as I already have my degree and was wondering if i could just get another copy and send it to and embassy/residence/whatever in Seoul?

Apologies for the muddled way the questions are arranged. I'm just a wee bit confused about what exactly needs done. I'm an Irish citizen so trying to get all the stuff sorted from here is a nightmare, and I'm just wondering if theres anything i can do to make the process easier and less stressful. Any and all help, tips and pointers greatly appreciated! Very Happy

Transfer or new visa?

Transfer:

passport
ARC
new contract
new employer's business registration (copy)
guarantee form from new employer (sponsorship form)
application
30k won fee
POSSIBLY a LOR.

You need to complete the transfer either during your last week of employment OR before your ARC expires (whichever comes first).

If you are talking about a new visa then you need new copies of everything (apostilled degree, CRC, etc).

so, basically i dont need to send off home for ANYTHING?

my contract is up the last week of august, and my ARC is valid until about 3 weeks into september. do i just transfer my visa over with a letter of release from my current school, and thats it? seems very straightforward! theres no catch?

If your ARC extends past your end of contract it is that simple.

In fact, if you transfer AFTER your contract is completed (and before your ARC expires) you don't even need the LOR.
