I like how they blocked out his face but not the reflections in the glass.

Basically you have yet another foreign dude behaving like an idiot for the K-media.

Is the 50.000W per hour really worth it? Everytime I've gotten requests to work on shows or whatever i've told them to shove it.

The media has nothing to do with this.

Basically two Brits uploaded a video to youtube of one of them going up to a Korean women saying Do you fancy a bum? Which she replied yes (Im assuming she had no idea what they were saying Surprised) then the guy said oh great and the video cuts off.

I didn't defend the last guys, but this is something where the media is 100% wrong. It was a stupid thing to do, but it's also not even half as nasty as what a lot of Korean 'comedy' programs do on a nonstop basis. There was actually a poster on here at one point who ended up suing the producers of one of those 'hilarious' shows because they flat-out called him gay in front of millions of Koreans.

That doesn't make it right, but it doesn't make sense that antagonistic humor against waeguks is okay as part of the mainstream culture, but waeguks using antagonistic humor against Koreans and probably getting 76 views max is an abomination and a tremendous controversy that everyone should be soooo upset about.

And I really don't think that posting some lame video that will hardly get any views (because it's not funny) is worth making a big deal over-- and now thanks to the media, it's a lot bigger than it should have ever been.

If I remember rightly thats a line from Balls of Steel, a lame Channel 4 comedy show.

Well done for introducing this though as this is exactly the sort of thing that people can use for making wild generalisations about 백인 남성들, there is no excusing their behaviour.

A far better thing to get angry about than the mortal sin of sitting on a subway floor playing poker.

In reality though a lot of countries media do the same trick- of stimulating nationistic pride -at someone elses expense- whenever real news is slow.

Or they make a habit of it.

Quote:
Talking to Americans was a regular feature presented by Rick Mercer on the Canadian political satire show This Hour Has 22 Minutes. It was later spun off into a one-hour special that aired on April 1, 2001 on CBC Television.

It consisted of interviewing Americans on the street and convincing them to agree with ridiculous statements, amongst others, about their northern neighbour. It uses clips from 22 Minutes and exclusive clips for this special, which was shown to the studio audience of 22 Minutes. Talking to Americans was nominated for a Gemini Award, but following the 9/11 attacks Mercer declined the nomination. Following the 9/11 attacks Mercer decided to stop the show.
