|
|
it's my third year here and the yellow dust has never affected me. i'm a physically active person, but lately, my lungs feel really strange. i wake up with my lungs feeling tight and congested and during the day it kind of goes away. at night, i feel a slight tightness as well.
it started maybe a week or two ago when the yellow dust was on high alert, i stupidly did outdoor exercises and both high alert days. it went away a few days later, but the weird tightness in my lungs have come back two days ago. i figured it was just the yellow dust, but now, that tightness has come back in the past two days. to my knowledge, the yellow dust hasn't been on high alert.
is anyone else having weird chest/lung problems? |

The yellow sand phenomenon returned the last two days, just sweeping off the peninsula now, came in a southeasterly direction. The air particulate levels were in the 200-300 range, four to six times the WHO recommended maximum of 50. Korea ignores the WHO and says up to 100 is okay, because Seoul often is over 50.
You really need to pay attention to air pollution when you're exercising outdoors. Use this site: http://www.airkorea.or.kr/ |
