I have a two week holiday coming up and would appreciate hearing some suggestions as to where to travel to. I'd like to keep the the cost as low as possible and I'll be travelling from Seoul.I am not considering Thailand as I have been before.
Does anyone have any experiences of surrounding countries of Seoul that they'd consider to be ideal vacation locations? |

Depends on what you want to do with your vacation.
Lay on a beach? You've ruled out Thailand, so that leaves Phil. or Bali. Of course there are smaller island getaways, but they are more expensive.
Hiking/Mountain style? Northern China has those kind of places.
Adventure? Laos is big on eco-tourism. Lots of adventure stuff there.
City? Tokyo is right next door. Might not be a vacation spot, but if you want to party and explore a quirky city it can be done. Moderately expensive though.
When I take a holiday, I'm a beach bum. So Phuket has literally a dozen beaches or more. Food's cheap. Hotel's cheap. Drink's cheap. It's my favorite quick getaway. |
