Hello,

Okay, here's the deal. I've contacted a couple of travel agents and looked online and haven't been able to find any decent(in terms of price) tickets to the Phillipines. I want to take a flight from Seoul to Clark/Angeles city and the cheapest tickets that I found were 750,000 won. I would be going there in late August. I know that since it is a direct flight, it would probably be a little more costly, but I didn't expect that amount. So, I don't know. Would it be cheaper to get a ticket to Manila and then take an airport bus to Angeles?

Since the Phillipines seems to be a pretty popular destination, I figure that a lot of people on here have been there, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you want to hit Angeles, there is a direct flight to there from Incheon via Jin Air. Jin Air has specials for 303,000 won roundtrip including tax.

the $80 tickets for the summer are probably gone.....it is possible the sale will come around one more time for july and august but dont count on it........

the sale locations change/rotate about every week or two on their site.....

400,000 is still a very cheap ticket....most of the other connection locations on cebu pacific are to off season countries and will be cheap tickets

If you booked on line this last weekend it was 88,000 won each way to Manila, not including tax, on a promo fare which ended April 13th. I missed it because of my Canadian credit card not working (Cebu Pacific has problems with foreign cards sometimes). But I managed to book this last Wednesday (Korean credit card) and got the promo for 99,000 won each way, but with taxes in totaled ~ 250,000 won (June 21 - August 26). Its best to subscribe to Cebu Pacific's email service. They tend to send out messages every few days on different promos. Otherwise you will never know when the promos are coming out!

Edit: Just looked tonight April 16th and the promos were still on 99,000 won each way. for my dates: June 21 and August 26th, OP check again.

Fly to Manila via Cebu Pacific (CP)(if you can't get the Jin Air flight), and take a taxi from the airport to Angeles for 2,000-2,500 piso. Same back! The flight on CP arrives at 12:30 am Manila so there is absolutely no traffic on the road and you can be in Angeles within an hour and a half.

Well, not much luck on finding any cheap tickets. I haven't been able to find anything less than 600,000 won( in August/Korea-Angeles City). I actually didn't expect it to be so expensive. Even Jin Air and Cebu Pacific don't have the prices. I've checked Expedia, Orbitz...nada. I thought it might be a little cheaper to fly into Manila, but it really isn't, so I might just have to bite the bullet on this one. Any other suggestions?

price is totally based on supply and demand of the flight at each time and date......change your dates and time slightly if possible........there are still a few 200,000ish one way tickets for the summer high time depending on what day you fly.........

600,000 is expensive for a philippines flight......you can go to KL on air asia for that price and there are cheap connections to off season countries from there.........

Cebu Pacific is having a sale right now on tickets to Manila and Cebu from Incheon (and I believe Busan, too) for 55,000 won one-way plus tax and other fees. The sale ends Monday.

Where do you see this? Is it for only certain days? I just looked on their site for my days (July 30/ Aug 3) and they were still $600.

Thanks for your help!
