| I've been here 3 weeks and I don't think there has been a day that has gone by that some student has asked my name and where I'm from. |

In Korea/From Koreans:
Why did you decide to study in Korea?
Do you like Korea?
Do you have a boyfriend?
In my home country:
Why don't you style your hair like an afro?
Doesn't your name mean Abominable Snowman?
From both:
Does it snow all year around where you live? |

Multiple responses from Koreans (esp. from my ex-co-teacher who was a real dick):
You look Korean. Why don't you act like a Korean?
Why don't you love Korean girl groups?
Why don't you watch Korean drama?
Why don't you use emoticons like ^_^ when you chat online with a Korean?
Why don't you use ~~ at the end of the sentence in a cellphone message?
Ewww, you like Jazz?
Why do you wear clothes like a white guy?
Why did you stop using Microsoft Windows? (I use Linux)
Koreans must drink coffee. Stop drinking Orange Pekoe ore else people will think of you like a crazy guy. So why can't you drink coffee?!?!
Multiple responses from American NETs:
Are you really Canadian? |

What do you think of Sarah Palin?
My response is to pretend I'm from Canada and get offended.
It rarely works. |

.....did they really asked you that? You should have hit them back by saying "How come you're not wearing a hanbok?" or "You don't have a 3 foot beard like confucious?" |

Okay, now when I think of it, the most common question is "Are you a Christian?" |
I always ask back; what's a Christian? |
