Hell yeah. It's huge, too, and about 7k if I remember correctly. I never bother with the set because it's too much food. I make awesome refried beans at home for quesadillas anyway. |
I was not serious. |

| The taco place across from taco bell is amazing. It is decent priced, good service and is REAL mexican food!!! I highly recommend it!! |
That place is decent, but I would hardly call it (or its prices) amazing. |
+1
Ate there last weekend. My gf got her food and 15 minutes later (after complaining several times) I got mine. The service is definitely not good. And the food was decent, but the prices were a bit high.
34,000 for 2 small meals with no sides, a coke, and a beer?! No thanks. |
The prices are very high and they haven't even tried to compete with Taco Bell. That may seem like a tall order, but if you serve alcohol and items not on the Taco Bell menu then you can compete for a different crowd.

Nothing wrong with choosing lower prices, and the Itaewon Taco Bell does a decent job with service and food. It is what it is, fast food, but it tries harder than the others. Know what I mean? |

Yeah exactly, they're exactly what they say they are and not overpriced. Most western food places are catering to Korean taste buds and their infatuation with over spending to look awesome.
So yeah Taco Bell, Subway, Burger King, and Kebab Places are my favorite places. Whatever. |

I've always found "On the Border" (COEX) the Chicken Fajitas suffice quite well too. |

Fair enough. Plenty of vegetarians enjoy it, so you could have meant it. Different strokes. I make kickass burritos at home, though, since having discovered the nicedeli hookup, so don't go there often now. When I'm in Itaewon, I usually just go to Petra or Wang Thai. |

| Ooh where is it? I know nothing of this place, but always like to try new ones. What's your favorite dish or two on the menu? |

It's on the street behind the Hamilton, across from Sam Ryan's.
Their "menu", such as it is, is rather limited, consisting mostly of appetizers.
The entrees change weekly based on what's available. They always have the option of a vegetarian plate, though I can't speak to how great it is. I've never been disappointed with their mains. They also have a cheese course available, which might interest you. |

I've only ever been to OTB in Sinchon and while the food was quite good I hated every other part of my 2 experiences. The service was always atrocious and the prices are quite a bit higher than they should be. Captain Complains-a-lot complains a lot. |

Thank you very much for that. We'll be sure to check it out! |

It's a weird restaurant in that some of the stuff is pretty good value, while some of the stuff is a total rip off. Most of the entrees run 15-20,000, but some of the 20,000 ones could feed two people pretty easily, while some of the 15,000 ones aren't too large. The stuffed quesadilla comes to mind as something that two people could split. The burritos tend to be slightly less expensive for half as much food. |

most places are over charging .. it seems to be a new trend worldwide.
from rents, to the products sold in the stores.
expect the prices to keep rising.
wont be long when bars in Itaewon will be charging over 10.000won a drink
and guess what!??
people will pay it...
most bars now are charging 7-9.000 a drink. expect 10.000 in the next 2-3 years, and then 12000 a gin a tonic by 2018 worldcup!
bowl of pasta or pizza, easily 30K
a kebab 10.000
kimbab 4000
taco will be 15.000won if its not already..
the rich are getting rich... building owners are getting greedy!
and shop owners are over charging. |

| Anyone had the burgers at dillingers or roofers? Here on a tuesday wonderin if either special is worth it. |
Dillinger's burgers are good. Never had a Roofer's burger, sorry. |
Went to dilinger's on your recommendation and wasn't disappointed.
Simple burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, good bun and crispy fries. That and an Alley Kat for 11k and it was a deal that's hard to beat. |
