Thanks

I did this a couple months ago (although I changed the return flight rather than the outbound), and it cost me about 80,000. Of course you are going to have to pay any difference in fares, then Web fees, then what is called a "Spoilage" fee for changing your flight.
Best thing I can suggest is just get on their site and go through all the changes without finalizing, you'll be able to see the additional cost.

Sorry to kind of hijack your thread... but have either of you had trouble recently paying online at cebu's site? They won't accept my Visa credit card, are there other options for paying?

THanks for your help!

Are you sure you entered all of the info correctly? Any mistakes on billing address, expiration date, etc. will cause your payment to be denied.

If this isn't the problem, your best bet would be to contact them, or I guess you could go to the Cebu Pacific counter at either Incheon or Busan airport.

Worst case scenario, give the cash to one of your friends and book with their card.

They also have a ticket office in Seoul (kitty corner from the Kyobo building in Gwanghwamun) 9th floor.

My Canadian VISA card worked for years, then all of sudden 2 years ago it no longer worked. Something to do with Cebu Pacific's ticketing system Visa told me. This is a known problem with foreign many foreign VISA cards, not only Canadian and angers a lot of fliers.

Also unfortunately if you book through their office in Seoul you won't be able to take advantage of promo fares. You have to do a direct deposit..no credit cards over the phone. And they always charge a small premium.

Luckily for me my Samsung Master card has been working just fine...for the time being anyways.

Thanks for the response. I'm in Gwangju, so won't be making the trip to Seoul/Inchelon just to book the flight, but it's good to know that's an option. Will have to try to find someone else to book for us. Thanks so much for the help!!

You don't have to travel into Seoul. You can transfer the money through an ATM machine. They will email you the ticket. Just call them, make the booking, then you have 24 hrs to transfer the money to their account.
