I don't think it's worth the cost. If you need a seatbelt in an airplane you gonna die.

Will they let you fly if you can't buckle up?

Ask for one on the plane. I like to be extra comfy, so ask for one, and then have it hang off me (doesn't even feel like I'm wearing a belt).

Strange that they say you have to have one, but never specify it has to be tightened.

i think i saw some on ebay...

i never buckle my seat belt for the same reason as one of the previous posters mentioned. if you need it, your likely dead...i havent heard of someone falling out of their seat during turbulence...

tip: put the complimentary blanket on your lap hiding the fact you dont have a seat belt on...

freddy do you ever read the news? Turbulence injures scores of people every year. People who aren't wearing their searbelts, that is... Rolling Eyes

And for hanguker. I didn't say I couldn't buckle up. I just want more room to move around and breathe properly. I can buckle the belt but I can't relax. Not everyone can or wants to be bean pole skinny. Like I said before I don't need people to say diet. If I decide to diet I'll do it on my own. Keep your peer pressure to yourself.

So you can hate on people - "bean pole skinny" is not perjorative? - but we can't?

I don't know how big you are but the ones on the plane should be big enough. I am simlar to you the belt is a bit uncomfortable. Just ask and save yourself the money.

I simply cannot believe how rude some people can be, it really staggers me some times. What do you say in class? Bullying is cool kids, it makes you feel like a big man to knock others.

People come in all shapes and sizes, deal with it, this person may be the one pulling your skinny ass from danger one day, you never know.

OP most people were brought up to have manners and understanding, don't let those without such basics of decency bother you, their terrible personalities will ensure they lose in the end.

as much as i wish i could say this is true, it simply isn't. it's just a very romanticized albeit, false, way of looking at things. sometimes a terrible personality is exactly what a person needs to get ahead. i'm not condoning it, however, i am in complete disagreeance with your statement.

Arguing on a message board isn't going to get anyone ahead. Just makes people look stupid.
