Ulleungdo is probably the best place I've been in Korea...and I've been just about everywhere!! It's clean, small, the views are beautiful...it's an amazing place!!
A couple of memories:
Sitting on an outcrop of rock and seeing aqua blue water below me....
Eating dinner in an outdoor restaurant...and the fish was kept in the ocean until it was prepared at our table.
Stopping in an in-land restaurant and asking a friend "How do you say "ashtray" in Korean?" He said "I don't know...but it's ... in Spanish!" And from the back of the restaurant, the waitress came out and proceeded to speak Spanish to my friend!!!!!
If you get the chance, go!!!! You won't regret it! |
