My internet keeps disconnecting and re-connecting. I have T-Broad. I tried unplugging the modem and plugging it back in again, but that didn't fix the problem. Does anyone know what's going on?

Your modem may be dying. Contact your ISP and ask for a guy to come out.

I should add that the "cable" light on the modem blinks when the internet isn't working. It does not blink when the internet is working.

My internet seems to be working again. . . and the "cable" light has stopped blinking. I suspect it was an ISP issue. . .

If it comes back and is a problem, call them. As mentioned, cable modems do go out from time to time. It's a common issue, and they just switch them without a thought. Had it happen twice to me over the years.

A side note... always be sure your cable modem gets proper ventilation. Heat is what kills those things. Don't set anything on top of them, and it's even better if they are able to sit up on their side.

I thought it was just me but starting this weekend my internet has been dead slow. I am not sure what is going on but in gwanak-gu it is very slow right now, at least for me.

Globally there are problems as ISPs switch from IP4 to the IP6 protocol and DNS services take time to catch up to the propagation of the new IP addresses.

Ugh, it happened again! I came home from work to find the "cable" light on my modem blinking and the internet disconnecting and reconnecting. Also, the problem just resolved itself at the same time as yesterday, around 6:15 PM local time!

Just call your provider. As mentioned above, they'll send a guy over quick & he'll fix you up with a new modem, end of problem.
