How do you reconcile this with your job as ESL teacher, which basically puts you in the social category of a Beta male on the lower rung of Korean society with an income on par with bus drivers?

Do the females 'ohh and ahh' when you tell them about how your hogwan/public school/university treats you like a 2nd class citizen...

Yeah, my situation (in Korea) wasn't even that bad but I'd strongly discourage dating a coworker here. It's like borrowing money from gangsters to play the lottery. High reward, but you'll most likely end up losing.

I can't wait until those "submissive" women start to demand he pull in bigger paychecks.

I don't even bother trying to date women from back home. I mean as friends they can be great but once in a relationship then forget it. I am very happy with so many of the women here. They like how I am healthy for my age and I am very kind to them...this would definitely include my views about men acting like men and women acting like women.

Demand? Who are they and what right do they have to demand anything?

When they start demanding bigger paychecks is easy for me.....I just find someone else. They are women so of course as a woman the will all have those $ signs in their eyes.

As in all other women. They do it but that doesn't necessitate they ought to - not in my book anyway.
Is/ought.
It is happening but it ought not to.

dating a coworker will almost always end up bad here for many reasons, i'm speaking from experience last year. not a good idea. other coworkers will usually find out and gossip/be jealous. be careful.
