I don't know how big you are but the ones on the plane should be big enough. I am similar to you the belt is a bit uncomfortable. Just ask and save yourself the money.

I think some people feel embarrassed to ask, though.

That said -- I'm pretty sure flight attendants get at least one, if not multiple, request(s) for a seatbelt extender on each flight they serve. I don't think there's ever a shortage of them on the plane, so you needn't feel as though you are potentially depriving someone else (e.g. a pregnant woman) of one by asking.

The belts are always tight on me, maybe I'll ask for an extender. Being 6'6" and 260lb sucks sometimes, but nothing I can do about it

as much as i wish i could say this is true, it simply isn't. it's just a very romanticized albeit, false, way of looking at things. sometimes a terrible personality is exactly what a person needs to get ahead. i'm not condoning it, however, i am in complete disagreeance with your statement.

Arguing on a message board isn't going to get anyone ahead. Just makes people look stupid.

there was no arguement here. just expressing my view on an wholly unrealstic statement that hopefully shed some light on how much of a fallacy the said statement was.

not really sure why you felt you needed to inject your particularly un-needed comment that showed a complete lack of understanding of the situation at hand however.

You have a pretty poor opinion of humanity judging by your comments.
I have travelled all over this world and found most of the people I have met to be decent, honest and well mannered. The problem is those who are not tend to stand out, in the same way sensational news stories about horrible crimes stand out and create a false impression that this is the norm.

As for saying 'sometimes a terrible personality is exactly what a person needs to get ahead', it depends how you look at it. It may get you ahead in the short term, it may gain you money and 'friends' looking to get themselves ahead too, but ultimately it will undo you. You may have all the money in the world a la Rupert Murdoch. But at the end you will always be a bad person, and bad people cannot truly be happy. That's why they are bad.

you seem to be confused by my posts. i clearly stated i don't condone it, but merely stated it is how the world works. it has nothing to do with how one looks at it. yes, nice people also get ahead, but the bad ones do too. to be a nice person does not guarantee a place in social heaven, nor does being bad. looking at it one-sided will get you nowhere however, and that was my point.

i have also traveled very extensively around the world and have found the same things you have. thank you for your input, but i find my opinion of humanity to be just what i need and it has served me more than well. please read my posts more carefully.

I think bad people are happier, because they don't have a conscience to get in the way of their happiness.

it was until people started getting needlessly up in arms about the crimes of people saying things how they see them.

i apologize for my participation in the derailment of this thread op, it's just particular types of thinking really irk me and i was drawn to comment as such.

as for seatbelt extenders, especially on asian flights i don't think you would have much of a problem getting one on-board. you can always acquire one through a site like amazon and have it shipped if you can't find one here. if i knew what one was called in hangul i'm sure it could be found on gmarket.

Anyone have clue where to find this. And don't say diet. I'm tired of hearing it. Be helpful and guide they way. I don't want to order online if I can buy one here in Korea.

Really? no clue where to find it?

Just copy and paste "airline seat belt extender type A" in google and the first thing that comes up is amazon.com

Google is your friend!! Smile

neither us nor korean customs will tax your items if it's below 120usd (i think that's the number) so you don't have to worry about getting taxed at all.

And have that goofy avatar? Hahah!

No, nothing useful to contribute to the thread. I'm bald; everybody picks on me and if I get defensive I'm a sensitive loser lol
