Seriously, they are an awesome group of people. They bumped me to business class for no other reason than I was tall, slim and handsome white boy with my suit on. I was gracious and humble, and just like that - bam business class baby!! |

Good deal, I'm flying with them on Saturday, from the reviews I've been looking at the past few minutes it seems they take care of you pretty well. |

Excellent service until they hit a problem then they don't have a bloody clue what they're doing. |

I flew Asiana in 2006. There was nothing about them that stood out in any way. The food, service etc was all pretty standard. I do remember that the stewardess seemed to be annoyed that I was speaking in English. I think I was the only foreigner in that section of the plane. Anyway, one rude princess type isn't enough to criticize an entire company. |

Aren't they more expensive (quite a bit more) to fly with? |

Usually that's the case with a national carrier of any country....the same with Korean Air. |

Definitely not going to recommend Korean Air Economy Class after a pretty shabby flight to and from Heathrow last year.
Bad food. Very tight seating. 400,000 for a baby but that's only for a very small basinet, not an actual seat.
Overall, expensive, but low quality. |

I was flown by Asiana when I first came to Korea. It was my first international flight, and it was the absolute best ever. There was a male steward who was very nice and friendly, and introduced me to Chilsung cider... it's been love ever since. If I can afford to fly them again, I will. |

Yes my employer is flying me over on Asiana, have flown Korean Air in the past but never Asiana. Now I just have to figure out the best way to get to Suwon from the airport. I was told to get a taxi but that doesn't seem very cost effective. I'd imagine it would be pretty pricey? |

You should be able to get an airport limo bus to Suwon....will cost you 9 or 15k (price seems to vary)
If you take a taxi, it will set you back 70k+ especially to Suwon (more if the flight arrives after 12pm). |

asiana is excellent. i've flown with them on maybe 50 flights or so and have never had an issue.
they won airline of the year from skytrax in 2010 and it's fairly well deserved.
i personally find kal stewardesses to be prettier and a little more welcoming, but they are also an excellent airline.
i used to live in suwon and i had to take a taxi to icn one time. cost me around 80k won. you should take the limousine taxi right next to e-mart for 15k instead. 1.5 hours to get there and much cheaper. |
