I'm planning a trip to India and Nepal. Originally, I was going to be visiting home for around a month before heading out (and get my visa in Toronto), but now it seems I might only be home for 10 days. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the visa processing times are like in Korea for an Indian tourist visa, and how easy it is to get a one. I've been on the website for the India consulate but it doesnt say how long it takes to get your visa. Do I have to have a plane ticket in hand to get it?
I would also like info about Nepal but it seems I could do that from India if I needed to.
Thnx |

It takes 7 working days to process your application
You need 2 photos, your passport(it must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of entry into India), ARC, and the processing fee (I think it's around 150,000 Won, a little more for US citizens)
You don't need a ticket if memory serves me correctly |

You get an Indian visa from tt services, its a company that issue the visas on behalf of the Indian Embassy. The website is http://www.ttservices.co.kr/ , email them and they will tell you whats needed. Its different for different countries. I paid 89,000 won and it took about 10 days from when I send it to them. Also they only accept applications send through a specific courier, they will tell you how to sort it out in the email they will send. I got mine in February without any hassle. |
