Soccer players... what works on the clay?

Never played on clay but if its very hard I'd imagine you wear indoor shoes...if its got some give to it maybe turfs.

When I used to play indoors I used Adidas Copa Indoors, they also make a turf shoe. But I mean they use regular tennis shoes when they play on clay surfaces so I'd imagine a pair of Copa Indoors would work fine.

Thanks for the advice. The only problem I find is that it is very slippy on some of the sand/clay. I need to wear studs/cleats but the ones for grass and not suitable.

I suppose an easy answer to all this is get Korea to change all its soccer pitches over the country to grass pitches. It sounds a lot easier than finding a suitable pair of boots it would seem!

Look for the boots (cleats) that are listed as "HG" or "FG." These denote hard ground and firm ground, respectively. They are made with softer rubber cleats so that you don't receive the full shock of running around on the hard pitches, but still get the traction benefits of wearing something longer than a turf or indoor shoe.

Turf shoes are fine when it's dry, but once the clay get's damp or if it rains you'll be slipping all over so a pair of longer cleats will be needed.

So I'm looking for a pair of HG boots. If these prevent me from being like Bambi on ice then I'm more than happy.

On a side note, what is the boot of choice this season?
