Sad I feel like I'd fit in perfectly with the culture, I gaze longingly at pictures of burning-man related things, but I have a huge physical barrier:

I'm allergic to the sun. At least that's how the dermatologist put it when I was a kid. I went to the hospital for it before they figured out what it was. Prescription sunblock, sun-protective laundry detergent, giant hats, I enlist these measures just to walk around the city...

Can't there be a an awesome event like that that takes place, I dunno, covered, somehow? Ha.

Burners are all about radical self reliance, I bet if you posted on a burner forum someone would tell you a story of a person with your same afflication handling it. You could even purpose a mutant vehicle or functionial art project to cator to your afflication and get a grant from Black Rock city. It is a 24 hour gig, a lot of people hermit in their camp all day, the trick is keeping yourself cool and shaded with no electricty, I promise you where there is a will there is a way. If one of my fellow camp mates, one of my camp mates is legally blind, and she manages, you to can find away, let your challenegs help you raise the bar.
