[NYC_Gal 2.0]

Hello all. I got a puppy a few weeks ago (he was abandoned at the vet's at 2 months, and spent nearly a month in a pen or cage) and he's been doing great, but I'd like to start socializing him with other dogs. He's wonderful around people, but when I take him for walks, we sometimes encounter dogs (though not often enough to get him accustomed.) Now, he's a puppy, of course, so he's a bit bouncy. Yesterday we had a good 6 seconds of sniff time with another pooch before he got uber bouncy and set the other dog off barking, which he didn't know was a threat. I just want to have him grow accustomed to other dogs, so figured a dog run or something similar would be a great way to do just that.

Back home, my dog had plenty of friends, because our neighbors had dogs. We'd often leave our dogs with each other so that the dudes had play time in backyards. I don't really have that option here.

I'm in Incheon, but wouldn't mind traveling to Seoul if necessary (though Incheon would be preferable, of course.)

Any help would be appreciated. This little dude needs some doggie play time.

NYC, Thank you. You are a kind person, like Pangaea (she cared for Alexander). I remember you wrote that you made your dog in the US chicken and rice. I'm sure this pup will enjoy your cooking, too!

Thanks, all. As of yet, the dog is liking the organic lamb and rice kibble that we've gotten him, so I'd rather he eat the vitamin-laden dog stuff while he's young. My dog at home HATED kibble, and cooking chicken and rice cost less than the canned stuff, which was of dubious quality or ridiculously expensive.

The little dude does get one egg a week for his coat, and plenty of healthy treats. My old dog was picky. This guy stands next to me when I'm cooking in order to take advantage of gravity. I have to be extra careful now.

He's learned how to escape the pen around his cage by climbing up the cage, so I'm selling it on the buy sell trade forum for a mere $30 if anyone is interested in an exercise pen. It's been used for a mere 2 weeks.

I take my little dog to the Hangang river parks usually because they all allow dogs. There aren't a lot of other dogs there, but it sure is big. If you want, my dog is always eager to meet other dogs, PM me and they can have a doggy play-date (I'm in Seoul)
