Hi. May seem like a weird question, but I'm a paleo dieter so it's important for me.

A lot of normal supermarket meat is grain-fed and I would be after grass fed meat for health and nutrients. From reading around grass fed is not big in S Korea.

One thing that is available in a lot of countries is New Zealand lamb. Sometimes in the freezer department; ground meat etc.

Does anyone know if any of these are available in Seoul, and can give me an idea about price i.e. are they a super luxury or manageable?

Tx, A

If you do find any lamb from anywhere, it's going to be pastured. I would just start looking for lamb in general. I've been to restaurants in Itaewon that served it so there are sources here.

Sorry I can't help you even though I eat Paleo. Not concerned enough about the grass fed issue versus how hard it would be to find here and how much it costs.

Yes, lamb is available at reasonable prices (frozen), but not at very many places because Koreans, in general, have no interest in lamb.

I get mine at the Foreigners' Food Mart in Itaewon. It's right across the street from Roofers Bar, if you know where that is.

I'm not a paleo dieter myself because I eat dairy products. I'm a no grains and no sugar and no potatoes eater. They do have organic chicken available here also.

Anyone know of any (safe) raw milk sources in Korea?
Cow, goat, etc.

Anywhere online or any farms you can go to to buy organic meat in bulk? Preferably grass-fed...

Thanks for the replies guys. Sorry I was late getting back, you know how it is, this is one avenue I'm considering and I was just looking at other things.

Anyway, good to know it is available and not too expensive. I can quite happily eat mostly ground lamb.
