I am planning on changing jobs but staying in Korea in the fall and wondering if I would have to do the whole criminal record check and notarize my degree again?
I bring this up because I was told by immigration today, that 'no since I am staying in Korea I would not have to'. I asked again to be sure, told him I am not renewing I am changing jobs and he replied with the same answer, 'only next year'. I guess I remain skeptical because his answer lseems logical and it would seem to easy and good to be true!
Secondly, can we not now have our degrees notarized at our respective embassies anymore? (in my case Canada). Or do I have to mail it allll the way home and get my poor old mom and dad to go to the K-consulate in my home city to do this and mail it back?
If any one has an official link or knows concretley that would be very helpful! |
