I thought it was sheep? Or was that just in terms of sperm...?
Confused

From what I know humans are genetically similar to many other species in comparison to chimps and other primates.

No.

That was just evolutionist propoganda once again.

Quote:
Human-chimp DNA difference trebled

We are more unique than previously thought, according to new comparisons of human and chimpanzee DNA.
It has long been held that we share 98.5 per cent of our genetic material with our closest relatives. That now appears to be wrong. In fact, we share less than 95 per cent of our genetic material, a three-fold increase in the variation between us and chimps.

http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2833-humanchimp-dna-difference-trebled.html

We are less than 95% similar. And be aware that even a 5% difference involves some 150 000 000 base pairs being different.

We are closer to mice than we are to chimpanzees. (99%).
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2536501.stm

We are also 90%+ identical to pufferfish and zebrafish.

Because genetic similarity does not prove ancestry.

It does however, show that the creator used the same genetic material to make all living things. A little bit like a car manufacturer uses chrome on most of its different models.

My apologies, I thought we could have a serious discussion on this but since you used the term evolutionist propaganda I see that's impossible.

I see you have already assumed that evolutionists and their theory are beyond criticism.

Thus a realistic discussion with you would be impossible.

It usually is that way with the Dave's hate squad.

You can criticize certain points of evolution but when you dismiss the entire thing because you believe in intelligent design, well I might as well say the world was created out of Pan Gu's body.

Don't you know you have to respect peoples' beliefs? Even when they're asinine.

Four in Ten Americans believe in strict creationism

Imagine living in a place where strict creationism is in the majority. Imagine living in a place where they value the Bible so highly, they don't know how to read it very well.

Yes, that's patently ridiculous. We all know it was the body of Ymir, not Pan Gu, which serves as the foundation for our world. Anyone looking at the issue with a clear mind will see that all scientific evidence confirms this position.

It doesn't matter how evolutionists arbitrarily classified something or what word they dreamt up for it. Evolutionists have been wrong. You are naiive.

The demarcation of subspecies does not indicate something "very different" at all. In many cases even two separate species can look identical.

In the beginning evolutionists manufactured a whole lot of tyical artisitic propoganda depicting neanderthals as some sort of primitive hairy ape-men, to supprt their ridiculous theory. As they tend to do.

However, real-world evidence shows that these humans were virtually no different to modern humans. Any difference is easily within the normal variation within a species, and an example of the greater genetic diversity humans had in the past.
Don't read too much into the imaginative fiction of evolutionist story-writers.

Neanderthals diet similar to humans
Researches at the George Washington University and The Smithsonian Institute found that Neanderthals ate plants and cooked grains too, throwing light on the fact that their diet was much more diverse than believed until now and very much similar to early humans.

Neanderthals had similar lifespans to modern humans

Humans and neanderthals interbred

Neanderthal and human DNA 99.9% identical

99.5% because they were our closest living relative. Yet not 100% because they took a different evolutionary path about 400,000 - 500,000 years ago.

It was sneezed out by The Great Green Arkleseizure. The expansion of our universe proves it! You can't deny it. I win.

Oh, pish posh. We all know it was Marduk who created the world when he cut Tiamat in half, killed her husband Kingu and made humans out of his blood. It says so right in the Enuma Elish.

As in every argument, Junior flies in the face of pretty much everything accepted by academia, proceeds to call everyone else stupid, and claims victory by making arguments so premised on religious belief that they wouldn't last two seconds in a secular university classroom.

You know, creationism and evolution aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Maybe God created a single cell, and all other life forms evolved from there.
