I usually do the 11pm-1am sleep, wakey wakey at 8am. Works decently well, any more sleep and I get too drowsy the rest of the day, any less sleep I get the same thing.
Wikepedia failed to mention Koreans who are frequently taking 10-20 minute naps on the subway, in class, on the sidewalk etc.

I usually go to bed at 12 and wake up around 6.30. I've never been able to sleep longer than 7 or 8 hours.

I usually sleep at 1 or 2 AM and wake up crying at 6:30 AM. I get about 30 minutes of sleep on the 1.5 hour ride to school, and 30 minutes back.

Wake me when September comes...

I'm usually asleep anytime between 12 and 1, then wake up at 7 on my own or 7:30 with the help of my alarm clock. I take a nice long nap, on average, once a week.

I usually sleep 6-6.5 hours. I wake up naturally and I'm a light sleeper, and I always wake up once a night anyhow, time depending on when I eat dinner.

I've recently started turning in earlier with the earlier sunrise, and hitting the gym in the morning before work. It's good!

That's what I'm starting to do, but I don't live near a gym so I go for a run/bike ride for an hour or so.

8 hours, no more, no less, is what I need. If I sleep 7 and a half hours or 8 and a half hours, I feel like a totally different person that day

I have heard that if you eat cleaner (and that includes less hard to digest crap like red meat) that you need less sleep. I do have a very clean diet.

Do you have any evidence or authority for this?

It is true that its easier to wake up when you have a clean diet. But I don't believe that means you require less sleep.

if i get in a workout that day, no problem with 6 hours of sleep. wake up feeling really rested too.

if i dick around all day doing nothing, a full 10 hours of sleep can still leave me cranky and dragging ass the next day.

my first week here, i walked from seomyeon to haeundae "to get to know the city better" and then back to kyungsung dae to check out the nightlife. i got maybe 4 hours of sleep but f me in the a if that wasn't the best sleep of my life.

One of the fruitarians on 30 bananas... said she sometimes goes to bed at 6pm. Apparently, a person still needs a lot of sleep even when ingesting pure energy.

7-8 hours a night. People don't realize how important sleep is for you. How some can go on 3-4 hours is beyond me. I'd be zombified at that point.

39. I'm born in 71 on the lunar calendar (72 on the regular old western calendar), so in Korea if I calculate on the lunar calendar I'm 41, not 40. And I don't mind adding the two years. Kind of cracks me up.
