|
|
I hope someone can help because hours of google searching got me nowhere.
I'm playing a game (Syberia) on my Sony Vaio and at a certain point the game always crashes at the exact same place.
I've tried everything they suggest on the game's technical support page, except for one thing - apparently my video card needs to be updated.
Problem is I can't find an update for it (Intel 4 series chipset family). On the Intel page it said I have to contact Sony to update my vc, but the the Sony website is only available in Korean. I've tried Sony websites from the US as well as European countries, but I couldn't find my laptop model on those sites and therefore could not update my driver.
PLEASE HELP!!!!! |

Thanks for the link. However that is the website I tried and got the message that I should contact Sony Korea.
Maybe I should just take my laptop to the Sony Service Centre in Daejeon. |

What's the model number of your laptop? XP or Windows 7?
If you're sure it has the Intel 4000 series graphics chip then you can uninstall the old drivers then download and install the new drivers from here..
http://www.techeta.com/2009/08/intel-gma-4500m-4500mhd-windows-graphics-drivers.html
If you have Windows 7 (not sure if XP has this function) then you can automatically update the video drivers by...
1. right-click on desktop
2. click 'screen resolution'
3. choose 'advanced settings'
4. choose adapter type 'properties'
5. choose 'driver' tab
6. choose 'update driver' |
