If you are travelling to Vietnam chances are you have to obtain a pre-arrival visa. The Scandinavian countries are exempt but citizens of other western nations require visas. The consular fees are very expensive (70-90 dollars depending on nationality) so a much cheaper option is to do it online through a travel agency.
You pay $11 to the agent plus a $25 stamping fee upon arrival. The agency emails you a letter which you bring to Vietnam and then your visa is issued on the spot.
The major agencies charge 20-25 dollars but I just had one done for $11.
