I was offered a position working with kids. It will be in a camp, funded by the govt. that offers English instruction in two week increments for kids in surrounding areas. It is non-profit organization englishtown.or.kr (the sector I am working in right now, and love!!) so the families who cannot pay the whole tuition only pay 20%. It is a simulation of America through an Englishtown. The students take 2 weeks off at a time to be immersed in English. I will be teaching such subjects as music, art, drama.

Has anyone heard of a development like this before?
I will get appox. $30,000 a year plus housing in Apartmentown, a small island off the coast of Ansan City.

I was generally excited about this. But after reading so many posts about what can go wrong, I am freaked out!

They are a big company that is expanding with the development of this project. I'm assuming they're not likely to fold, cheat me...etc. But I am not sure. they are new, so no on has heard about them yet.

If anyone has any leads, or generally what I should ask them to make sure they are ligit, let me know.

It sounds strange that the offer is in dollars and not won.
