Teaching English in English is far and away the most effective for student learning, but only if the material is at the appropriate level for the students.
Teaching English in Korean is NEVER effective, but it will lead to a more controlled classroom if the material is very difficult.
Teaching ESL is not about teaching mind blowing concepts, it is about use, repetition, practice, and familiarity. |
