anyone had problems with this airline?
I have heard they are often late, sometimes cancel flights and don't offer any refund or another flight. basically leaving you to buy another flight if you miss your connecting flight?
you guys ever experience delayed flights? missed flights? canceled flights? |

20-odd flights on them
Late departures = yes but nothing drastically so (domestic or international).
Late arrivals =occasionally but always within (+-) 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time.
Never missed a connecting flight.
Had one flight canceled and they put me on the next one (Phils domestic) with no problem and only about an hour delay from the original flight.

I've flew with them a couple of times a few years ago and they were always on time. One flight even got us there half an hour early.
However, on the bottom left hand corner of their website, they state their on time percentage for May 2011 was 67.4% |

I fly them all the time and have had no problems save one flight into Manila that was 40 minutes late (this was in late January this year).
Just make sure that you are sure when you travel because they have no refunds and switching dates can be costly and a pain.

I have yet to fly on Air Asia because to be honest, I don't find that carrier that cheap. Flying to and from KL from Incheon is around 450,000 won on sale as opposed to Cebu Pacific Air, which had a free airfare sale Wednesday (June minus tax and handling charges. |
