|
|
Hello everyone,
I am not really sure if this is the right place to post this, but I wasn't allowed to post it in FAQ so here goes. Move it to a more suitable place mods if this isn't where it should be.
Ok, so my problem is that I have a degree certificate without my middle names on it.
On my passport, CRC, bank statements and all the rest my name is e.g. John James Smith, but on my degree it just says John Smith.
I have seen a bunch of different websites that say all documents have to have the same names, but other websites say that the middle names are not important. Has anyone had problems of this sory, has it been an issue getting a Visa, and does anyone have any advice?
Thanks for reading!!! |

My BA does NOT have my middle name on it.
I had no problem getting it certified and obtaining a visa with it.
The problem typically arises when the degree has more or different names than your other ID. John James Smith / James John Smith, or John James Smith (degree) / John Smith (ID) or different spellings of your name.

My BA and MA degrees along with my drivers license bank statements etc have an initial for my first name and my middle name while my passport has my full name and I've had no problems with kimmig.
just as a safety i got my grad school to issue me a new diploma with my full name, told them just wanted it to match my passport, they had no problem with that |

Thanks for the speedy response guys, this gave me a smallish heart attack when I realised after months of gathering docs I may have run into a massive problem.
You have put my mind at ease. |
