Has anyone purchased the Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM recently in Seoul?
It is listed for 770,000 (parallel import) - 865,000 on danawa.com. I am looking for a better price, if possible.
Thanks |

you could get it second hand in Namdaemun.
new I think the price you have is best. but I don't know for sure.
maybe one of the merchant in Namdaemun will match the price and through in some extras , filters, lens case etc.. |

I've done a lot of camera shopping in Namdaemun. I've had good experiences each time. I've dodged a few bad deals but nothing outrageous. I always stop at Yes Dica 예스디가 first. Although he doesn't have the largest selection in his shop he has great customer service and can order in anything.
You also might check gmarket. |

I forgot to mention. Some of the things I've bough have been second hand. If it's a lens just hold it up to the light to look for dirt or hairs in the middle of the elements. I don't know how that happens but it does. Dust isn't a huge problem because it can be cleaned but it's something to watch out for. More importantly look for scratches on the exposed elements. |
