|
|
I just got a lovely new large bed, fitted it out with cotton sheets and a cotton quilt, and spent a small fortune. The only thing is that the pillow cases that match the bedding aren't cotton for some reason, so I didn't buy them. It seems that everywhere I go there are these ugly print cotton pillow cases. Doesn't any place have plain white cotton cases? The ones I packed from home are quite old and one is starting to tear.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My bed is so pretty, with the exception of the pillows. If I don't find something soon, I might just cave and get the non-cotton ones, but I'd hate that too.
Please help if you know where to find them. |

I could never find plain white high-quality (more than 1000 thread count) cotton bedding until my wife searched the internet and eventually found some.
Now I enjoy cool white cotton on my face these hot summer nights.....bliss... |

I don't even mind a crap thread count, I'm that desperate. I tried Amazon and Ebay, but couldn't find any sellers that would deliver, though I can usually get things. I hate to bother a Korean friend over something so trivial. If anyone has any links or suggestions as to where I could find them, it would be great. |

Yikes. Thanks for the link, but that's a bit much. Shipping a few pillow cases in a padded envelope would probably be far cheaper, as you said.
My friend suggested that I try the New Core Outlet in Guwoldong (I'm in Incheon) because she remembers seeing some in the bedding area a while back. |

I have found solid color pillow cases in homeplus. Also i got a solid color comforter there for about 25 bucks.
Don't worry about funny prints though. nobody you bring home will be too worried about your bed sheet's design. |

Actually, my husband got the sheet and comforter set at Homeplus, because they have cotton. It costs a lot more, but it's the material that I like for bedding. One does spend a lot of time in bed, so it may as well be perfect. I already spent a lot on the premium mattress and bed set.
They didn't have plain white pillowcases, though. The sheet and comforter set are a nice pattern, but the printed pillow cases weren't cotton, for some reason, and had this ripple texture. Ick. I always prefer white pillowcases, and I only buy cotton, so I'm stuck with my old, starting-to-tatter cases for the time being. I'll check out New Core Outlet this weekend. |
