Hi guys,

Looking for a good water park in Seoul. We live in the east and don't want to have to travel TOO far so can someone recommend one?

Also, what else can you recommend we do? Only here 2 months and kinda bored/lost for things to do already.

So far we have done:

Lotte World
N-Tower
Jogye Temple
Shot guns in Lotte World
Went to Olympic Park
Gone drinking in Itaewon, Hongdae

Can you recommend some other non-drinking cool things to see and do?

Thanks

Also, where is the best rollercoaster park in or near Seoul? Ever land? Is the zoo in the same part as the theme park as I don't like seeing animals caged in.

Thanks for any info.

Caribbean Bay and Ocean World are probably the closest to Seoul and the biggest. However, they are also the most crowded.

Caribbean Bay is attached to Everland, which also has the best roller coaster in Korea (T-Money Express). The "safari" is at Everland but you wouldn't have to see the animals as it takes about three hours to even enter the "ride".

Have you been to the palaces? Gyeongbuk Palace is the biggest but they are all close together and can be done in a day.

Insadong and the cafe street north of it are nice for after the palaces as they are close.

The Han River has many activities you can partake in (boat rides, cycling, water skiing, etc).

You could go to a baseball game at the Jamsil stadium. Two teams (Doosan and LG) play there so there is always a game on the weekends.

Art shows in Hongdae along with listening to local bands.

Nanta, Jump, or Miso are all good shows to watch. I personally liked Jump the best.

The war museum near Itaewon is awesome.

Our group is going to Caribbean Bay on June 25th, if you'd like to join us.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the offer.

Might take you up on that. I love waterparks. Will send you a pm closer to the time if we can go.
