easy to be so tough on the internet there and hide behind your pc like your hockey team hides behind corruption.
boston is like that movie the town-bunch of low lives. |
B's ain't my team, although I would love to see the Canucks fall on their faces. Also, series isn't over yet, it's tied 2-2. After 4 games it's pretty good to be tied in a series. Did you really expect the series to be done in 4, or 5, games?
Just quit the whining, I can see you'll have the excuses ready if Van does lose. There is no corruption, or favoritism, it's just that Vancouver played awful in the last two games and ran into a really really good, and confident goaltender. And it seems the Sedins can't handle a little roughhousing. |

| vancouver has sucked it up big time since edler broke his stick. if they were on top of there game they would be winning despite whatever boston does to them. henrik is hurt and daniel is hopeless without him. Kesler is hurt too. And, Like I said, the canucks are off their game. Hopefully they can find it in vancouver. |

What's with the Canucks hatred?
Here's my new prediction... Canucks in 4 didn't work out too well... haha
The Canucks are going to get destroyed next game. I mean the score will likely be around 12-0. For whatever reason, the Canucks get out lucked, out played, and then they get over run in Boston.
Game 7 will come around. Canucks will score 1 goal early. Then, Boston will desperately try and come back... but Loungo will shut the door. Watching Boston play will be like watching a man drowning. Then Daniel Sedin will score what will become the game winner. 2-0 Vancouver. Why will it be the game winning goal? Because with 12 seconds left Boston will score. That will be as close as they come though.
I was in Vancouver last night. The party was crazy. Go Canucks!
As for all you haters... I just don't understand... why? The Canucks are a terrible team to be a fan of... but we are fans nonetheless. If anything you should pity us... not hate our team. But, win or lose this has been an awesome year for the Canucks. At the very least they have proven themselves to be one of the best teams in the league. |

So... no one comes in here when the Canucks win... just when they lose...

I don't think Chara meant to do this. But he did. (I try to be as unbiased as I can, and I really don't think Chara realized where he was throwing Pacioretty).
Rome didn't mean to send Horton to the hospital either. But he did.
Chara is a saint. Rome is a villain. Right...
If the Canucks lose tonight I fully expect you to be in here bashing them and talking about how they are the worst team in the league. If they win, this thread will go dead. |

A real home-ice-advantage series...
...except for game 7? |

| Canucks have been outscored 8 to 19 in the series due in large part to Tim Thomas who WILL WIN the Conn Smythe trophy regardless of which team wins game 7 unless Kesler scores a hat trick and Thomas is pulled early (Luongo style). |

Don't think he'll win the Conn Smythe. |

Disappointing finish to the best year in Canucks history. Great playoff, loads of drama. Hell of a run. Good job boys...
Van's a young-ish team with a lot of good players locked up long term. They'll be back in the Final before long I hope. |

| No big surprise. Boston had the highest average confidence level of all of us on this thread, with a confidence no lower than 10, many 13s and Redcap and I giving them a 15 pre-playoffs. If we had pooled all of our opinions and averaged them out then Boston would have been our prediction all along. The Bruins were built for the playoffs. And it showed. |

Boston 23 Vancouver 8
Never has a 7 games series been so lopsided. The last two games were terrible for us "neutral fans". Wanted to see competitive hockey at least. What a joke. |
