| Why bother asking questions if you aren't going to read the thread or the news articles posted? |

Eh, I did.
You're point is completely irrelevant.
What has being able or not able to buy aspirin in a supermarket got to do with whether or not you can guy other drugs OTC in a pharmacy?
I didn't ask about what you can buy in a supermarket.
Not getting into a tit for tat discussion with you. Have a nice day. |

You can buy sleeping pills over the counter from any pharmacy, but the names will be different from those back home.
Check the ingredients. Some knock me out (and leave me groggy for the next 24 hours) while others have little affect... |

Didn't think so but I had to make sure. Stranger things have happened.
I did hear that it was easy to obtain a prescription for xanax though, which I might try to do. It will help on my quest to become enlightened. |

Any of the supermarkets that are likely to stock OTC drugs (e-mart, lotte-mart, home-plus.etc) probably have an in-store pharmacy that is open the same hours that they are already.
For the most part, the ONLY difference is that you will be able to help yourself off the shelf instead of asking a clerk for it.

For example, soju! Wait...
Sometimes I think about dissonance in the policies here. Then I consider policies back in the USA, and there are so many inconsistencies there as well. And then considering the whole host of human ideas, this species is simply nature's laughing stock. |
