Hey there,
I'm just finished up my first year contract in GEPIK and I am trying to receive my airfare. I have already bought the ticket through expedia.com and they sent me an e-mail receipt that just states: the flight itinerary, cost of the flight before taxes/after taxes, my name, etc. The problem, I think is that it doesn't show my credit card information or anything.
In any case, after showing the e-mail to my school as the receipt (at the top of said e-mail says This e-mail is your receipt) they said this receipt will not work. I asked them what they need on such a receipt (just the credit card number or what?) and they showed me a picture of a Korean receipt and said it has to look like that
What kind of receipt did you show when your were applying for your airfare refund? Didn't anyone else use a site like expedia or orbitz to get their tickets? Also, city hall should have dealt with this before, so did other foreigners really do it so differently? What is going on here? |

They sound picky!
If you log into your Expedia profile and open the page with your flight details you should see a link beside the total you paid that says "Print a Receipt."
It should open a window that shows the ticket number, your name, credit card type, and the last 4 numbers of the credit card. You can print that and give it to them.
Perhaps that will work? |

Wow, where should I find that? I didn't even get one with my credit card number and everything. Maybe let me know the process you went through to get your social security number on the receipt? In the US, I don't think I've ever seen a SSN on a receipt of any kind. Anyways, in light of this information, any suggestions as to how I could collect the airfare money despite the lack of a proper receipt? |
