Can you only get athletes foot from someone else? or can it spontaneously get you? noone in my house has it except me and I think i got it because i always kept my feet wet and not dry.

Also, some weird thing is that its come up to my hands as well (the inside, not outside part) but only a little bit and hardly noticeable but i can feel it. It feels like little bubbles inside the skin and if you rub it a little, it feels like a bumpy road especially on the feet. Its kinda red as well where the bubbles occur.

Also, my fingertips are all numb and even the foot tips are as well. IDK if that matters.

So the solution is lamisil correct? Can i get it from big supermarts like emart or homeplus? or do i have to go to the local pharmacy? even small pharmacys have them or should i just go to the semi-big ones?

The solution is - go see a doctor!

Athletes foot is itchy and red. The skin will peel and it's not comfortable.

You get it in your crotch and it's jock itch - same thing, different place.

Either way, yes, you can get something to treat it at the pharmacy without a prescription. Just get a dictionary and look up the word and you're set.

I moved into my apartment last September and took a shower the night I arrived. Had athletes foot within the week. The guy who lived there before was a filthy pig. Don't know anything about the bumps though.

Korea is pretty bad for the skin. Lots of people have eczema and live without symptoms for years, then they come here and have problems.

Thus, IMO, you should go to the doctor. It sounds kind of like athletes foot, but not 100%, so I'd get a check up.

Is it itchy or just bumpy? Is your skin peeling?

Could be athlete's foot or could be Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. A few of the kids at our school had that last week.

Go to a doctor for sure. Won't take long and it will be cheap.

If it is really athlete's foot (which it seems like), then yes, you can get it from someone else in a lot of different ways. You can also transmit the infection to different parts of your body like your hands if you touch your feet, or your groin (jock itch) if you touch your groin immediately after touching your feet.

You can get ointment at your local pharmacy and/or go to a doctor and get antibiotics. Wash your feet regularly with cool water. Keep your feet cool, dry and exposed.

Doesn't sound like athlete's foot. Can you tell me exactly what part of your foot is affected? Is it the sole? Between the toes? or on top? any exposed raw tissue? any smell?

could be hand foot and mouth disease but this is rare in adults and there isn't a treatment.

any other symptoms? broken skin? fever? malaise?

The numbness is worrisome. Go see a pharmacist for free consult then go to doctor if needed.

Good luck trying to cure fungus with a prescription from a Korean Doctor. My shit didn't clear up by the first two prescription runs so I went back the third time and asked for something stronger. he looked at me, disgusted, like I was doing something wrong and said, "same, same" and wrote me another prescription for that useless crap.

Just ask somebody at home to send you some tough actin Tinactin. That will clear your shit right up.

Is your skill turning white? Does it smell?

When I was in Korea I had something similar. My mum gave me anti-biotic cream (which she brought with her from Canada). I have no idea what it was. I am pretty sure I got it in a Jimjilbang though.
