If you bother to walk outside your apartment (the light may hurt your eyes, Mr Shut in) to Itaewon you'd see that a Jester Pies is being constructed and i was asking people who actually get out when it is going to be open. |

I have one around the corner from my apartment, and eat them semi-regularly. I enjoy them. They don't taste as good as a bakery meat pie from Oz, but they are here, and much less calorific. They aren't expensive, and I'd definitely so they're good value for money. |

What makes you think I don't leave my apartment? You're the one on here all day replying to post after post. |

I tried that style of pie from jesters. I had never had them before. I thought they were not worth the 3k won. I just assumed it was an acquired taste, and that people who had grown up with the pies would enjoy them.
Give them a try, just because it can be a new thing, but don't expect much. |

They have like 20 different pies. Did you try every one? |

I tried a sweet one and a meaty one myself. Another of my friends had a vegetarian one, and my boyfriend had one of the hot dog style ones~which aren't pies. They just aren't flavorful in my opinion and don't leave you satisfied. They're quite messy too. The breading flakes off everywhere. That has nothing to do with taste though. Just a personal peeve of mine.
That's why I chalked it up to being an acquired taste. My boyfriend is Korean and he didn't care for it at all, and my other friend is American and she also agreed it wasn't worth the price. However, it was nice to give it a try because it was a new thing.
Maybe you'll love them~give them a try~even if you don't care for the taste it's something interesting to try out. |

There's one open in Bundang and it looks pretty good. I was hoping to hear some good things about it but it seems like people are a bit wary of trying out new stuff. I sometimes bake fish in a pie so I'm assuming its gonna be similar. |

There's been a Jester's in Bundang (Seohyeon) for a few months now. Had a pie yesterday. Good stuff. |
