Do dog rescuers care more about letting people know that they rescue dogs than they do about the dogs they rescue?

Very Happy

Of course. There's no way a dog rescuer WON'T let you know that their dog is a rescue.

A: "Hey Bob, how's it going today?"
B: "Well, you know, just taking my dog out for a walk. His being a rescue, you know, you never can be too safe on the health side."

A: "Hey, how about them Chargers?"
B: "Well, you know, my dog's a rescue, so, I think they have a good shot at the super bowl this year."

it's a great way to win people over that you've just met. I always tell the tale how I saved my chow the day before it was put down. As you know, they don't keep pets there forever...

Many of us are just trying to get other people to rescue dogs too. You don't have to, but it's a nice thing to do.

A nice thing to do is adopt a child as well from another country who is in dire need. Selfish bastards having their own child!

Just so we can dispel with the notion that the "dog rescuers" are all high-n-mighty, fly-in-your-face, righteous animal worshipers, I would just like to note that I was the first to suggest this person adopt a dog that actually needs adopting and have also never adopted a dog in my life.

That's what you get when you "demand a response damnit".

Thank you.
