I just landed a Uni job and I'm worried my CBC won't come back in time. Are there any extensions or anything I can do while I wait for my documents? I remember last time I extended my E-2 it was past the expiration date on my card and they didn't say anything.

Any help appreciated.

I thought as long as they charged you, you could get an extension from immigration. But that is if the school wants to go through the hassle I would assume. Get a korean friend to go to immigration with you and settle it.

Well, the University accepted me out of around 50 candidates so I'm pretty sure they want me. What exactly should I do, and when should I go for an extension? I don't start the uni contract until September.

So it seems if you have already been offered a job and have an ARC you can extend until your FBI check arrives? I hope this is the case.
