I'm starting to think I might have adult attention deficit disorder. I had a mild case when I was younger but I think it might not have ever gone away. Also when I was a kid I was never medicated for it. Does anyone know of a place I could get tested in Daegu (or close to Daegu) to see if I have it? I want to try to avoid a big hospital (and big cost) if possible. |

you managed to finish typing this, i don't think you have it.
in all seriousness, i don't think S. Korea ia a global leader in recognizing and diagnosing ADHD. In addition, i'm pretty sure the best drugs prescribed for it here are illegal and/or hard to get.
In any case, good luck -- |

They have ritalin and similar deriatives.
Getting it from some doctors can be hard or impossible. Other doctors don't ask too many questions and will sign a perscription easily unless you look like Jay and Silent Bob.
Countryside pharmacies may not stock the pills though.
The ritalin is kinda weak sauce and you graqdually have to convince them to up the dosage. They'll start you out on a wimpy 10 mg. |

I got an appointment for consultation next week at Kyungpook University Hospital. Since it's a hospital and not a local clinic, maybe they would give me better meds if I have it? But yeah, I have heard some of the drugs are illegal here. Too bad. |

I imagine if I have a doctor's note saying what I have taken everything would be ok, right? |

I think dexamphetamines are not available here. I think anything that contains "amphetamine" in its name finds its way rather easily onto a banned substances list! |
