New Englanders tend to riot regardless.

i'm from the american midwest, and i've traveled to canada a couple times. once when i was in toronto, i went into a grocery store to use the restroom. i asked the clerk "where's the bathroom?" and she looked at me like she didn't understand me, so i asked again, and got another blank look. so then i asked "where's the washroom?" and she was like, ooooohhhhh.....and then told me where it was. i think she was just being a stuck up b****. like she just couldn't understand what a "bathroom" is......

if you want to emigrate to the USA and can't get in
try Canada!

Why would a person necessarily want to immigrate to the USA over Canada except for the weather?

Naw, man. Canadians riot regardless of whether we win or lose, cuz we're special like that. Wink Just depends in the city and the team.

Hmm... lemme think of a difference. Canadians spell color 'colour' and gray 'grey'. We also don't have any songs about partying on beaches.

Same same. I mean what significant difference is there between someone from Australia/America/New Zealand/ Canada and GB? They are all basically the same white anglo saxon protestant (WASP) culture/countries.

But maybe people don't want to hear that, kiki.

Well, there are varying degrees of ethnic diversity in each country, but if you're looking at just the majority, I agree with you. Minor differences in political opinions and food, but that's it. I feel the same way about China and Korea.

I agree. China and Korea are more similar than say Korea and Japan.

But still the WASP countries are even more similar to each other. China and Korea are different ethnically which does influence culture to some extent whereas WASPs are pretty much the same in all their countries.

But the States and Canada are also different ethnically. The population of minorities is very sizable in the US (I don't know Canada's stats) and come from different places than those in Canada. That changes the country, even the so-called WASPs.

Not much difference. They all practice the same form of superior legal system: the common law system.

Anyway, WASPs are no longer singularly dominant in the American system. Look for example to the US Supreme Court. Every justice is either a Jew or a Catholic.
