If the country you're travelling to has a CDMA network then yes. If not, no. Most countries don't. Return it and get a KT/SK one.  |

Well, for SK/KT I have to pay for the full price of the phone at once unless I could find a Korean friend to register the phone under his name.  |

| Check KT and their expat blog/twitter. I didn't have to pay for the full price up front, of course that might have to do with me being an F-visa holder. |
