Hi guys,
Our boss needs teachers at their other branch across town. I heard he wants to move a new teacher at our branch i.e. me.
Anyway a friend said that under E2 Visa regulations set down by Immigration, you cannot be moved, or at least change address until 6 months has passed.
Is this true, are there any links someone can send me on this?
Thanks |

That's for different schools, not branches. You might want to get location updated in ARC card though. |

Under the current rules, you can be switched between branches of the same company/school at the owners will with the proviso that immigration MUST be notified within 2 weeks and your ARC amended.
Typically, unless there are exceptional (specified) circumstances, you cannot usually change employers until after 6 months have passed and you still need the permission of the employer (letter of release).
