|

So my wife is in country and they originally did a c-4 tourist visa for her (don't ask me why I don't even remember) Now she needs to switch to a spousal visa. Can someone tell me the process because my recruiter did a bad job explaining it.
Also...contract says they're supposed to give me a telephone. I don't have one, does that mean cell phone or home phone? |

Go with your wife to immigration.
You need your:
ARC
passport
proof of continued employment (certificate of employment)
Proof of a valid marriage (marriage certificate) in English or Korean.
Her passport
2 passport photos (2.5x3.5cm)
application
60k won fee.
PLUS 10k won for her ARC (tick the extra box at the top of the application so it is: change of status AND ARC application.

Absolutely!! You didn't know?!?
Now the down side:
For documentation you have to get an apostille on your original marriage license. The backlog is 10 years.

Just to make sure for the OP and others who may not catch the LOL in there.
The marriage cert does NOT have to have an apositlle.

I tried to switch wives last week and they required me to apostille my actual wife, cost me a fortune sending her via Fedex to the FCO in the UK. |
